School on Monday

Well, we had discussions (many and many unreturned calls) with the council today and finally at about 4.30pm after a long discussion I had with the at 4pm, they decided to see things our way and Joseph and Maddy start school on Monday morning - it was some discussion but pleased to say it turned out well ... They are both really excited to be starting.

As it turns out How is off on his bike to Newport for work in Bristol so it will just be me seeing them off at the bus stop for school and I have been told no public displays of affection, except Maddy is allowing a hug and definately not allowed to fuss :) The two girls down the lane will help them on the bus getting to the school reception where someone will be waiting to help them get to their class etc, very organised, the school seems fantastic so far and have been extremely helpful and supportive to this point and definately give a good impression both socially and academically for the kids - let alone support.

We walked into Usk today, took about 25 mins each way, not too bad actually as there is a bus there that goes from Usk to Newport and also to Cwmbran among others so useful to know.

Waiting to hear about some jobs, but also planning on dropping in on some schools for teacher assistant work, shall see how that goes, hopefully well.

Tomorrow have no plans but need to go and get school jersey for Joseph and a bike helmet for How (although not a requirement here), they had run out of school jerseys for Joseph's size and hoping more have come in by now - all in Cwmbran.
